I am Jonah - The last two weeks

If you missed the gatherings you can listen to the podcast here.

Two weeks ago Nate asked a few questions:
- Why does God send winds and waves and whales into our lives?
- Why does God hurl us into the ocean depths?
- Why does God bury us beneath his stormy and wild waves?

God, in His mercy, humbles us and exposes us and tests us and disciplines us to shape our character ... to make us holy ... to make us more and more like Jesus ... Read Hebrews 12:1-13

This week Travis Osborne shared about God's character
- All through scripture God is described as gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity.

The irony in the Jonah story is that Jonah accepts God's grace and compassion for himself but he refuses to share that grace and compassion with the Ninevites. But Jonah still smells like fish!

Question: How do you respond when God shows grace to others?
